Choose the Plus version when front-suspension comfort matters. E-Motion’s listed 1000W configuration is restricted to private-property or off-road use; do not use it on NSW public roads or shared paths unless a separately verified compliant configuration is supplied.

HELIX estimates each bike’s relative performance using consistent engineering principles and the best verified specifications available. Results are modelled comparative estimates rather than laboratory-certified measurements. Actual performance varies with configuration, rider, battery condition, terrain, weather and tyre settings. Acceleration: modelled 0–25 km/h on level ground. Electric-Only Range*: minimum pedalling only to keep assistance active, with no meaningful rider propulsion. Hill Climb*: modelled 60-second climb at 10 km/h.

Why This Bike?

Who is the DiroDi Rover Standard & Plus Gen 6 best for?
It suits riders who prioritise strong hill performance, long-distance practicality, a comfortable step-through option and useful carrying capacity. Its fat tyres, long frame and integrated rear rack favour stability and utility, but at about 40 kg it is not a light bike to lift or carry.
How confidently does the DiroDi Rover handle steep hills?
Hill climbing is one of this bike’s strongest attributes. E-Motion’s assessment combines the high-torque motor system, gearing and current performance data; actual climbing will still vary with rider weight, cargo, gradient, surface, tyre pressure and battery charge.
What Electric-Only Range* should I plan for?
For the listed high-power configuration, use roughly 70 km as a conservative planning figure rather than treating the supplier’s maximum range claim as guaranteed. Pedalling, assist level, speed, hills, load, wind, temperature and tyre pressure can materially change the result.
How do the step-through frame and fat tyres affect the ride?
The step-through option makes mounting easier, while the wide tyres add stability, cushioning and grip on mixed surfaces. The trade-off is a heavier, wider bike with slower steering and more rolling resistance than a conventional commuter.
Is this DiroDi configuration eligible for NSW public-road use?
No. E-Motion’s listed 1000W configuration is restricted to private-property or off-road use and must not be represented as NSW public-road compliant. A separately supplied and verified compliant configuration would need its own assessment before road use.
What comes in the box?
The package includes the Rover Gen 6 in the selected configuration, its removable 20Ah Samsung battery, compatible Australian charger and the premium rear crate with six securing straps. The bike is supplied approximately 95% assembled; final setup and safety checks are still required. Optional accessories and a second battery are excluded unless selected separately.
